Why Practice Yoga At Home: Reason #2

Wouldn’t it be great if you could recreate feelings of relaxation, calm and peace that you experience in your in-person yoga classes? Well, you can!


When you begin practicing yoga at home on a regular basis, you begin to develop muscle memory by repeating the actions of  each pose that you learn in class. Your body will “know” each pose, each contraction, each release. You will begin to sense your alignment in standing postures and even make your own corrections, try variations and understand when to use modifications.  Eventually, you will begin to guide your own practice - listening and responding to your needs. This can lead to better postural alignment, muscles that have a great balance between flexibility and strength, expanded lung capacity and a stronger nervous system.

Yoga For Children And Families!  My Upcoming In-Person Offerings
Family yoga is coming to Lansing, Mi this spring! 

In this fun and interactive class, families will build strength and flexibility, express creativity, alleviate stress and find calm and balance.
We will learn yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditations, group activities and guided relaxation. Children must be at least 3 years of age to participate. Registration is now OPEN!

Everyone experiences stress and worry from time to time. No biggie…
Unless it starts to interfere with your daily routines and quality of sleep. Then it's time to take action.
In this class kids 7-12 will learn a system to help them relax, reset and make a plan for when anxious feelings get the best of them.
We use movement, breath, connection, artful expression, journaling and more.
